The Axon Strategy Gold · Nasdaq · Intraday
Two assets that don't move together, one single signal: gold and Nasdaq traded at the same time. 2-minute scalping with the Axon and ALMA Trend indicators, chaining re-entries in favor of the confirmed trend.
The approach
Knowing the direction isn't enough: you need strength and confirmation
Most traders enter on a hunch and in a single asset. The Axon Strategy trades gold and Nasdaq at the same time —two markets that don't move together— and only when the direction is confirmed by volume, location and the higher timeframe. Fewer random trades, more entries with the wind at your back.
Gold · Nasdaq · 2 minutes
How it's traded
Manual intraday scalping on 2-minute candles, with entries between 9:30 and 12:30 (NY time). Separately they are indicators; together, a method. This is the setup the strategy was backtested with, but anyone can adapt it to the asset and timeframe they prefer.
Two assets, one signal
Gold and Nasdaq traded simultaneously. Since they don't move together, they diversify risk within the same session.
Confirmed direction
You only enter when the market regime, volume and the higher timeframe all point the same way.
Chained re-entries
Instead of waiting for a 1:6, you take profit on each leg and re-enter on the next pullback while the trend holds.
Controlled risk
Recommended risk of 0.75% per trade (0.50% as a conservative option). All figures are computed with a pessimistic friction model.

The indicators Axon uses
The strategy relies on two GTC indicators on TradingView.
GTC The Axon Engine
Detects the market regime with an adaptive filter and confirms it with volume, location and the higher timeframe. It colors the candles and marks pullback entries, with percentile targets computed from the asset's own history.
View on TradingView →GTC The ALMA Trend MTF
A multi-timeframe oscillator that marks the trend clearly and the turns on time: it combines trend, exhaustion, divergences and multi-timeframe confirmation so you only act when everything lines up.
